Wizard vs kingdom is an action based top down game with a combat system inspired by wizard of legend (wizard of legend is this games biggest inspiration.) 

Game loop

 Wizard vs kingdom has a very simple game loop which is: equip items in inventory, choose a level out of the random selection, fight the level, level drops items, equip items, then do it again. 

Main hook of the game 

The main hook of this game will be the abundance of levels, enemies and items. (this is not true yet, since there is not much content)

What items are

Items are items you get from levels, there are 4 different types of items, which are: capsule, weapon, relic and attack. 

Relics 

Relics are stat boosting items that give you passive abilities. Relic examples:

Scroll of immortality Allows you to revive once each level, stacks with each scroll equipped. 

Knight sword Raises attack by 10% 

Arrow quiver Gives you an extra attack slot 


Attacks

Attacks are items that do an action when the keybind assigned to them is pressed. They have a cooldown though, so you can't spam them. Examples of attacks: 

Fire wall Shoots a wall of fire, each fire does 2 damag

Weapons 

 Weapons are items that are similar to attacks, but you can only have one equipped and they have less cooldown. Examples of weapons: 

 Sword

 Stab enemies with a sword, deals 5 damage. 

 Zues staff

 Strike lightning at your cursor, this lightning deals 10 damage, then shoots lightning from your character towards your cursor, deals 20 damage. 

 Shotgun 

Shoots 5 bullets, each bullets deals 5 damage 


 Capsules 

 Capsules are items that give you items when opened, they have their own lootpool with items only in the capsule.
